Train Locally, Race Locally

Whether we are training in the early morning at the track at Harmon Field, gathering at Lake Lanier for a challenging loop run or bonding during our long runs down River Road we are taking in all the beautiful local scenery. If you haven't been to any of our weekly group runs you are missing out! We have runners of all ages, paces and abilities who come out to enjoy our community while encouraging and supporting each other.

Now our club is expanding even more. We have several race directors in our club promoting their own home-grown races for local causes.

The next race coming up is our very own Jingle Bell Jog in Landrum, SC. The entry fee is a canned good that will be donated to a local food bank. Come decked out in your holiday running gear on Saturday, December 17th at 8:00am. Meet at 156 North Trade Ave (The Mailroom) Landrum, SC.

We have lots of races coming up in 2012. Please check our race calendar below for more details and check back here closer to the race date for all the specifics.

Some of the causes we these races are supporting are:
  • Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce
  • Pacolet Area Conservancy
  • Go Girls
  • Foothills Humane Society
  • St. Luke's Hospital Foundation
  • Tuesday School
  • ALS Foundation
  • The Shepard's Feast
  • Boy Scouts
Running local races is a great way to stay in shape and help support the community!
